P.E Days
Monday and Wednesday
Please wear a green t-shirt, shorts or joggers, a school jumper or fleece and suitable footwear (trainers or appropriate sports shoes).
Homework
Homework is set on a Friday and collected on a Wednesday. Homework should take no more than half an hour and is comprised of spellings, times tables and a maths task. Weekly reading is in addition to this. Times tables are practised daily in school and spellings are tested every Friday. If you have any questions about this, please let us know.
Reading
We would like you to read at home at least four times a week of at least 10 minutes each time, ideally with an adult. If possible, it's great to write your reads into your reading diary. If you read 4 times a week or more, record these 4 separate occasions into your diaries and get your diaries signed by an adult, your name will be entered into the reading raffle for a chance to win a prize at the end of the week. You will need to make sure you have your reading book and diary in school every day. Reading diaries will be checked weekly along with homework. Reading diaries will also be written in when individual reading in school takes place.
