Please find information about school closure.

As you will have no doubt heard this evening, the government have announced that schools will be closed with immediate effect for almost all children.

We fully support any decision that puts your family’s health as a priority. Staff will be working hard tomorrow to plan remote learning to deliver to your child, which will be set as normal on Purple Mash. We hope you understand and appreciate that we received this announcement at the same time as you, therefore as a staff need some time to prepare for a very different start to the term we had planned so online learning will be ready for your child to access from Wednesday morning. If you need your child’s password to Purple Mash please contact school tomorrow.

We strongly recommend that wherever possible you keep your child at home. However, if you believe you are a keyworker and your child needs to attend school, staff will be in tomorrow as usual to receive these pupils so please bring them to school at the normal time. In order to reduce mixing as much as possible we ask that you carefully consider if it is possible to keep your child at home, and we will ask for proof of keyworker position to keep numbers in school as small as possible. Please send a packed lunch for your child. As usual, if you have any questions please email admin@hartland.devon.sch.uk or phone on 01237 441 258. Please do keep checking our Facebook page and emails for updates. We thank you for your continued support and trust that you will continue working with us to engage your child in remote learning.
